Streaming and On Demand Video - New Website Features
Would you like to watch the local government television channel but don’t have COX Cable! Well now you can! The City of Nichols Hills is now streaming the local government television channel on the Internet. The service is available 24 hours a day and is the same programing that is display on COX Channel 20. News, Calendar Events, Crime Alerts, Road Closings and other information is available. This also includes the live broadcast of regular City Council meetings. The meetings will be broadcast live on the Internet just like they are on COX Channel 20.
Besides the streaming service, the website also has an “On Demand” section that will allow you to watch previously recorded regular City Council meetings. If you missed a Council Meeting and wonder what was discussed...! Now you can go to the website and watch a recorded video of the meeting.
Both of these new services are available on the City’s website www.nicholshills.net
in the “Help Desk” section in the left-hand column of the site. Look for the two new buttons at the bottom of the list marked “Live Video” and “On Demand Video”. Just click and then sit back and watch.
