The Street Division is one of the divisions of Public Works. It consists of one Crew Chief and two Maintenance Workers. The responsibilities of this division are patching, sealing cracks in the streets, potholes, street signs, traffic signals, keeping catch basins clean from debris, and keeping the streets clean.
This crew is also responsible for getting the streets ready for events such as the Red Bud Classic, Memorial Marathon, the Pooch Parade, 4th of July, etc. This crew is also called to assist along with their co-workers when there is a sewer/water main break.
Crew Chief for this division is Kelvin Green and Maintenance Workers are Gene Farmer and David White.
Operating hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m till 5:00 p.m. If you have a street that needs looked at, please call Public Works at 843 5222.
